Andrew has just worked on Disney’s new live action production ‘Cinderella’ playing the role of a fencer (swordsman). Following several skilled fight performer rehearsals over the past few weeks with fight director Terry King, scenes were shot on location at Greenwich Maritime Museum. Andrew enjoyed working with the director Kenneth Branagh, who he first met almost twenty years ago. During one scene Andrew had to make sure he didn’t accidentally stab Derek Jacobi who was playing the King and strolling around the fencing academy admiring his swordsmen! Cinderella is due for release in 2015.

The last few weeks of Antony and Cleopatra shows have been great fun and it is a real shame that the run is over. At least until we can confirm other possible venues! Until then time to see what other work awaits…

Wow! What a week it’s been here at the Minack Theatre in Cornwall. Our production of Antony and Cleopatra, in which I played the key role of Enobarbus, has gone down a storm! Fortunately there was no sign of any real storms – in fact we’ve had the most amazing weather. The sun has shone during every show. We’ve had great audiences and a fantastic time. Let’s hope the rest of the tour goes as well as this.

I’ve just arrived down here in sunny Cornwall at the fantastic open air amphitheatre that is The Minack. What a venue! So looking forward to the run here this week. Looks like the weather could hold off too – Hurrah! We have a wonderful show, a great set and now we’re going to perform in unbelievable space. Let’s just hope the views, sea and wildlife don’t upstage us!

Andrew is now rehearsing the wonderful role of Enobarbus in Another Way Theatre’s  production of Shakespeare’s ‘Anthony and Cleopatra’. This character has a great journey within the play and also some very well known, challenging and beautiful speeches. Performances will be at The Minack Theatre (the world famous amphitheatre nestled in the Cornish cliffs near Land’s End) from 3rd June – 7th June, at the Caterham Festival in Surrey from 18th – 22nd June and at The Purley Festival in Surrey from 25th – 28th June. Andrew has just wrapped on an independently produced, brand new episode of the late sixties classic Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), performing as Marty Hopkirk, the ghost private investigator who still helps his partner solve cases from beyond the grave. Plans are currently to release this hugely fun show for fans of the genre via the internet.

Got an awful lot of funny looks this evening on Clapham Common. Mind you, I was staggering along as a zombie-like drunk while filming a new viral commercial! I can’t reveal anything more about this production until the campaign is launched, I’m afraid.

Andrew has just returned to London after a fun season doing panto and is already on to the first new job of the year; Today he filmed a corporate film for Experian.

Recently Andrew recorded several commercials for the Daily Mirror. This included three TV spots and one radio commercial promoting their special content and free gifts for the Euro 2012 football championship and the imminent Olympic Games in London. These will be broadcast during June and July on independent UK television and radio networks.

Andrew is now in rehearsal for a fun and innovative new open air production of Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ to be performed on and around a children’s playground in Caterham’s Queens Park, Surrey. He will be performing the role of Demetrius and if the show is half as much fun as it has been rehearsing it then the audience are in for a real treat!
