Andrew has just finished performing in the wonderfully funny (and scary!) production of The Hound of the Baskervilles at the Jack Studio Theatre. It was a sellout run, even including the extra performances added due to great demand, and it received numerous 5 Star reviews such as this one:

Just one more day to go until the US premiere of Candlestick at the Arena Cinema, Hollywood!

Exciting times. Bring it on, LA!

Andrew performed as part of the RSC Open Stages ‘Sonnet Project’ at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford yesterday. All 154 of Shakespeare’s sonnets read consecutively within 4 hours.

Only a few more weeks until Andrew’s lead role in the independent British film ‘Candlestick’ will receive its US premiere in Hollywood!  The date for your diaries is 11th April 2015.

Disney’s Kenneth Branagh directed ‘Cinderella’,  in which Andrew plays a fencer is released today in the USA. The UK release will take place on the 27th March.

Currently in Cinderella – on stage AND screen!

After all the recent cinema screenings of Candlestick it’s now back to treading the boards for a little while: I’m currently playing the role of Dandini in the pantomime production ‘Cinderella’ at Wrexham’s William Aston Hall, which I’m also directing. By coincidence, I can also be seen in the current trailer for the upcoming live action film version of the same story, Disney’s Cinderella, directed by Kenneth Branagh.

I’ve just returned from our wonderful Irish Premiere at @GateCinemas in Cork, as part of the @IndieCork Film Festival. Another very friendly festival with lots of really great staff, audiences and film productions. My current feature film, ‘Candlestick’, in which I play the lead role, Jack, was incredibly well received at Tuesday’s fantastic screening in front of a very appreciative crowd. The Q&A afterwards was really fun with lots of thoughtful, considered questions. Thank you Cork!

Next up: mainland Europe for more festival premieres.

This week I headed up to Aberdeen to join other cast and crew members for the UK Premiere of my latest feature film Candlestick. The momentous first British screening of our production began at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 8th at the inaugural Aberdeen International Film Festival held at Cineworld, Union Square. We had a lovely reception from both the audience and the festival organizers, and the film was very well received. It was great to see a large audience getting into the plot and enjoying the twists and turns, and wonderful to hear their reactions to certain moments in the piece. We also had a very enjoyable Q&A session after the screening. Thank you, Aberdeen. Next stop Ireland!
